Eifel retreat
Stay in the Volcanic Eifel.
Peace, nature, ancient power spot, hiking, stream, silence, simple accommodation……..
Do you need a break, or do you want to connect more deeply with yourself? To be alone for a while to feel and nourish your own center, or perhaps to strengthen the encounter with a good friend.
Location in the Eifel
For sixteen years my partner Evert and I are taking care of a very special power spot in the Volcanic Eifel/ Rheinland-Pfalz Germany. In the middle of the Wolversdal between Pelm and Berlingen there is a small paradise, where the stream flows through the valley into the Kyll. And continues to the Moezel and the Rijn. The small river shows openly the fossils at the time of the Devonian Sea 385 million years ago.
When darkness falls, the howl of the white and black wolves of the great castle at Pelm are singing there songs. In the Germanic/Celtic tradition, the wolf was linked to the Völva (vulva); the name of the priestess who helped man in his transformation and new birth. The clear, starry sky is a relief because of the clean air and deep darkness visible between the wide variety of trees. Over the years, this area has gradually shown its deep, heling powers to us.
If you create an active connection from all layers of these power places, it can bring you in a very deep contact with yourself. Giving a broader, expanding context and a healing movement in body and mind. Something that we would like to share with our fellow brothers and sisters on earth. For that reason there is a converted gypsy wagon of nine meters long in the back field, where you can relax. There is also the Kotha (our octagonal wooden temple) where lessons, sharings and meditations take place and can be transformed into a sauna. During an retreat we offer this stay as an opportunity to remain in this valley for a few days. If you want some more luxery and time out moments for these powers, it’s also possible to stay at a nice hotel at the end of the small forest road: EifelAdventures Berlingen, where you can rent spacious and well-kept apartments for a low price.
